"The Juggler" is headed to the quilt show

Preparing "The Juggler" for shipping to the American
Quilter's Society for the Chattanooga quilt show.
My quilt, "The Juggler," is heading off to the American Quilter's Society [AQS] home office in Paducah, KY in preparation for AQS QuiltWeek quilt show that will be in Chattanooga next month—September 14-17.

I flipped to the back of the quilt to see if it needed an address label and had forgotten that I used this purple bubble 108" wide quilt backing. [Chromadots by Barbara Leonard for Blank Quilting]. This is a cheerful, non-directional print that complemented this piece nicely.

Once the address label is attached, I'll view the instructional video for packing and shipping... and then off it goes.

If you are near Chattanooga mid-September, check out the quilt show and see "The Juggler" in person. It will be among hundreds of other beautiful, creative works of fabric art. You'll think about quilting, fabrics and threads in a whole new way!

If you'd like to read about my process for creating "The Juggler," you'll find it in this post and the quilting process in this second post.
