Accepted into the AQS show!

As of Friday, I can proudly say, "My quilt has been accepted into an AQS show."

AQS (American Quilter's Society) is coming to Chattanooga, Tennessee for QuiltWeek this September 10-13. An e-mail arrived saying the jury accepted my quilts to be included in the show. This is quite an honor!

The American Quilter's Society is a long-time, well respected organization that puts on several annual national quilt shows throughout the USA. Everyone in Chattanooga—quilters, friends and families of quilters, quilt guilds, quilt shops, local businesses, the Convention and Visitor's Bureau, everyone—is buzzing about the show coming in September and we're all gearing up for a fabulous event. If you come to the Chattanooga show this fall, look for these:
"A Feather Runs Through It." The quilting stats are in this post.

This improvisationally pieced quilt is called "3 Sisters." It was finished last October.

Stacy Slockbower's [from Pins and Needles Quilt Shop] quilt, on which I did the machine quilting, was also accepted into the show. This is Stacy's first entry into a show—and her quilt was accepted! Yay for Stacy!
